My vent for the time being
First I want to say if you don't agree with me,,, awesome that's your opinon but these are mine and I am sick of holding them back and I am about to explode!!!!!
First... I am a formula feeding, disposible diaper, here is a taste of my food, sleep in my bed, not going to hold you 24/7 mommy.
I tried breastfeeding, it was not for me. It's hard, very hard, and I tried but it was not what worked for my family and I, because... I like my sleep to much, does that make me a bad mommy????
I was scheduled to be enduced 1 week before my due date, not for medical reasons but because I was done and needed to make sure that my husband would make it to our sons birth. Was I enduced? NO! Josh came on his own two days before. But apparrently this makes me a bad mom.
We DO NOT EAT ORGANIC!!! sorry but I was raised on non-organic and I turned out just fine, nice and healthy with no allergies!!!!

I LOVE my cousin and am sooooo sick and tired of hearing people talk about her like she doesnt exist or is not there. She has made mistakes, she knows this but remember... ITS HER LIFE NOT YOURS....ITS HER BODY NOT YOURS.... so, before you go talking s*&# on her, look in the mirror and take a look at yourself!

I am so sick of hearing people complain that they dont have money...then complain when they have to work...well in order to have money you have to work.
Also, what bugs the crap out of me is when people are struggling financially but, the woman (who it is 9/10) refuses to go out and get a job, because they want to be home with the kids. This bugs me more when the family is taking assistance...I understand some people need assistance...I actually applyed for it when Landon and I were having issues.... People need it when both are working. However....DO NOT i repeat DO NOT complain to me when you are broke and cannot afford to go out and do something because you are too lazy to get up off your butt and get a job!!!!!!! McDonalds is hiring and well quite frankly, your children's health and making sure they have food on the table comes before your going out and buying toys.
for example, right now, Landon and I are tight on money right now, so I am in the process of looking for a job to help it not be so tight every month. When things get better I will go back to being a stay at home mom and student.

Baths
Joshua HATES his bath time. I have tried about everything I can think of to make the time more relaxing for him. However, I am taking the last desperate attempt... I am buying a new baby bathtub. The one we have is all plastic and has a really annoying leg seperater (if that is what it is called) and I hate it because the only time josh is calm is when he is covered up to his neck in warm water and with this tub he has to have that stupid thing in the middle of his back to have the water to his neck which akes him upset too! UGH.. I love water, so does landon and I would love to take Joshua swimming one day.. but if he doesnt like water Landon and I are in trouble because we are Water Babies!!! My favorite though is putting Josh in Towels.. I have about three hooded ones that I love... One is a dragon, a shark and a frog. Here are some pictures of my little man in his shark towel...

2 Months and Counting
Josh is now two months old! Well as of 3/25/2010 he is. It is amazing how just in two months how far they come and grow and the new things they learn to do.
Josh is smiling...cooing...giggling (sometimes I have only heard it once) ... and is awake much more everyday. We are currently almost sleeping through the night, we have 4-6 hour streaks every night. I am pretty lucky!!
We are getting family pictures done next weekend seems the only family pictures we have with all of us I am half asleep because I just delievered him!! And with Landon's work schedule its nearly impossible to get anything scheduled.
Landon got a promotion!! YAY he is now a Night Supervisor, means pay raise but he still has to work nights which is the worst part but it means he will one day get bumped up to Day Supervisor.
We are also looking at a few places to rent FINALLY!!! All of which we can have LJ in!!!
Easter is coming and the easter bunny has put together Josh's Easter basket.. It's ready to go! :) I'll take pictures of it Sunday morning with him in his easter suit!!!
Mother's day is coming up too... its crazy how fast this year is going by already!!!
Uh Oh little man is getting upset...gotta run!!

Inducement Jan. 27th
Inducement. Yes people are going to FREAK OUT ... My EDD is Feb. 3rd, while I would love to sit here and wait for Josh to make his apperance on his own I have some circumstances that some other mothers to be may not have. My husband cannot come home until A) I am in the hospital and STAYING which then he would have to wait to leave location which can take anywhere from immidetly to an hour and thats IF I CAN GET A HOLD OF HIM!!! or with the situation now B) Being induced, he gets to come HOME sleep in his own bed TWO nights before and we get to spend our anniversary together, and my strongest support will be with me through out it all.
No I don;t have a medical reason and I understand that the chance of C-Section goes up considerably, I have no doubt in my body to do what it needs to do. My doctor and I have gone over the risks I have done the research and my husband and I and my doctor have decided that it is in our best interest to induce.
If I have to have a c-section yes I will be upset, yes i will cry, yes it will suck major monkey balls but if thats what it takes to get my baby boy here healthy so be it!!
I understand women's bodies have been giving birth for all of time and that we can do it naturally, but really what was the death rate in newborns and mom's back in the day before all of the medical advancements? I personally am not willing to risk my life or my baby's life in order to have a "Natural" delievery.
This is NOT a bash on anyone who is for the all natural method or no epidural but for me... I am a 100% PAIN MEDICATION, HOSPITAL, type of a person. It's what works for me and I am SICK and Tierd of having to explain myself to people about my choices... My son is healthy, I am healthy, we have no reason to wait more than passed next Wednesday and we have no reason to take him next wednesday, however, he will be making his apperance and be in our arms by Thursday evening, Friday morning! I personally cannot wait!!! As I know my family can't either....
with that said... I LOVE MY BABY BOY, I LOVE MY HUSBAND and we are putting our full trust into the doctor that we chose for our care!

32 Weeks!!
Do you see that cute little face? I am now 32 weeks Pregnant, and quite frankly the last two weeks has been the hardest. I had a kidney infection, which is now thankfully cleared up. Then Monday I fell down the stairs after a snow storm, I landed on my butt, and elbow, which means I have a bruised tailbone and a bruised up elbow. I am extremely sore which makes it just so much fun trying to keep up on housework. But other than that Joshua looks amazing. We had an ultrasound Monday morning (before my fall) and he is measuring right where he should be and was 3lbs 1 oz at that time. However they gain anywhere from 1/2 lb to a lb every week now, I am suspecting he will be around 7 1/2 pounds myself, just my guess. He is in the vertex position so he is locked in and ready to go, although we still have 6-8 weeks to go. I have my appointment tomorrow and am interested to start talking to my doctor about labor and delievery, what I want, as well as care for Josh after he is born. I am getting more and more excited to meet my little man!! (I think he looks like his daddy!!!)

'Tis the Season
Friday...the 4th of December ALREADY!!! Goodness time has flown by. My bladder infection turned into a kidney infection so I am on antibotics until Wednesday then will get checked next Friday to make sure that the infection is gone, if it isnt then I will have to stay on antibotics until it clears up.
I am getting lots of christmas shopping done!! I have most everyone taken care of except my husband, mother in law, mother, and stepdad and two more nieces and nephews. I think I am doing pretty good and have taken care of most everyone else for less than what we spent last year! Which means christmas savings YAY!
We are 31 weeks and 2 days pregnant right now! Which means we have only 6 weeks till Josh is considered Full term and 9 weeks until our due date. I had my baby shower this last weekend and it was fun. I have TONS of outfits, and now we just need the little stuff like bottles, bath stuff, saftey stuff, and I just pick up a few of those items everytime I go to the store. I have one last ultrasound on Monday to see how big Joshua is and I sure cannot wait to see him again! My mom, sister and best friend will all be there which will make it all sorts of special because my sister has never been to an ultrasound!
Life is good what can I say! I love the holidays, although I wish we would get some snow!!

I am thankful for. .
I have a lot to be thankful for today!!! Monday morning I woke up at about 4:30am MST , with some horrible back pains, just thinking it was Joshua hanging out in my back we tried to get him to move. About 5:45 the pain went into my abdomen, and was so bad I couldn't stand up straight, let alone move to do anything. About 6:30 we made the call to the On-call doctor in Evanston and they said I needed to get to the nearest ER ASAP because it sounded like I might be in labor. I am in pinedale visiting Landon and family, so after the quickest trip to Jackson Hole ever made by anyone, even with the crappy roads I think we made it in like 45 minutes if not less, I wasn't paying attention. I was admitted into the ER where they blew three veins trying to get blood and an IV line going. They finally got an IV in and started and I went through a bag of fluids in less than an hour. I also was found to have a horrible UTI (which if you don't know is a bladder infection) that was causing my pain. The doctor then informed me that if we would have waited much longer it would have turned into a kidney infection that could have really sent me into pre-term labor. Josh was content throughout the whole process, he really didnt like the machines they had to monitor him and make sure he was okay, he was rolling away from them and kicking them, so they finally took him off the heartbeat monitor and left me on to make sure I wasn't' having contractions. I was released from the hospital about 3 or 3:30ish I don't remember I was so drugged up I just remember calling my mom, grandma, and dad to tell them we were out of the hospital and then I remember going over the RIM, which was scary with crappy roads. But here I am about 48 hours later and I feel better now then I have in about a week... so what am I thankful for
1. MY wonderful husband...because without him I would have been freaking out even more than I already was sunday morning. He is truly an amazing individual and I cannot wait to see him become a dad.
2. My mom and stepdad...who drove to Jackson to sit in the hospital room for 45 minutes then drove home so they could catch New Moon... which is A-OK with me.
3. Nurse Susan... she was my nurse at the hospital and she was amazing, she was honestly concerned about me and they were trying so hard to make me confortable when I was in so much pain. She is definatly a "ROCKSTAR"
